Yes. Our cabinets feature solid wood doors and face frames, along with durable plywood cabinet boxes. We do not use particleboard or compressed wood in the construction of our cabinets.
Most orders are delivered within approximately 5 to 15 business days, depending on your location, product availability, and shipping conditions.
A 10×10 Basic Kitchen is the industry standard used to compare cabinet pricing across different cabinet styles and finishes. It represents a simple L-shaped kitchen with approximately 20 linear feet of cabinetry.
The 10×10 price is intended as a pricing benchmark only and may not reflect the exact layout or quantity of cabinets needed for your kitchen.

A typical 10×10 Basic Kitchen includes:
Due to the size, weight, and fragile nature of certain cabinets, we do not recommend shipping larger cabinet items through UPS or FedEx. Some cabinet components are more susceptible to damage during standard parcel shipping. We have identified these items and avoid shipping them via UPS or FedEx unless they are properly secured on a pallet.
Larger cabinet orders and complete kitchen orders will be shipped via a common freight carrier. The carrier will be selected when your order is ready for shipment, and the shipping details will be provided in your shipment confirmation email. Smaller cabinet items and accessories may be shipped via FedEx or UPS Ground.
Many cabinets are large and heavy (some weighing over 100 lbs.), so we strongly recommend having one or two additional people available to help with unloading. The delivery driver works for the freight carrier, not Kitchen Cabinet HQ, and due to insurance restrictions, the driver is unable to assist with unloading cabinets or other items from the truck.
When your freight delivery arrives, please follow these steps:
1. Take photos of the pallet(s) as they are removed from the truck.
Please do this even if the shipment appears to be in good condition. Photos can be very helpful if any issues are discovered later.
2. Verify the number of pieces received.
Carefully count all boxes and items to make sure your order is complete (unless you have been notified of any out-of-stock items). Some smaller items may be packaged together, such as crown molding, fillers, and other accessories. If possible, open accessory boxes while the driver is present to confirm all pieces are included.
3. Document any missing items or packaging issues.
If you cannot locate an item, note it on the proof of delivery (POD) before signing. Also document any issues such as broken or damaged shrink wrap.
4. Inspect all boxes for visible damage.
The freight carrier allows you to inspect the outside of each box before accepting the delivery. You do not need to open every box, but please check for visible damage such as cracks, dents, holes, or crushed packaging. Any visible damage must be noted on the proof of delivery before signing.
If the driver does not allow you enough time to inspect the shipment (although this is uncommon), please sign for the delivery and contact us immediately with details of any shortages or damage so we can assist with filing a claim.
If you have any questions about the delivery inspection process, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Yes, you may still place an order for out-of-stock cabinets. However, estimated restock dates are subject to change and may be delayed due to manufacturing schedules or shipping delays from our distribution partners.
If your order is being shipped via a freight carrier, someone must be present to accept the delivery. If no one is available, the freight carrier will be unable to complete the delivery and may charge a redelivery fee.
Once your order ships, our customer service team will send you a shipment confirmation email with your shipping details. When your order arrives at the local freight terminal, the freight company will contact you directly to schedule a delivery appointment. This ensures you will know exactly when to expect your delivery.
If your order is shipped via standard ground service (FedEx or UPS), you do not need to be home. The package(s) will be delivered and may be left at the delivery location if no one is available to receive them.
Don’t worry—there is no need to return damaged items. We will work with you to provide the necessary replacement parts or cabinets. Please refer to “What if something on my order is damaged?” for more information.
If you choose to return your entire order instead, it will be treated as a standard return. You will be responsible for return shipping costs and a 15% restocking fee. The original shipping charge is non-refundable.
Please keep the delivery paperwork that documents the damage (the paperwork provided by the delivery driver), as it may be required to process your claim.
If you need to return an item, please contact our customer service team within 30 days of delivery. To be eligible for a return, the item must meet all of the following requirements:
Please note:
The following items cannot be returned:
We reserve the right to refuse any return that does not meet the above conditions.
Freight Returns:
If your return requires shipment by a freight carrier, we can help obtain a shipping quote using our preferred carriers. We are often able to secure lower freight rates than customers can obtain independently. If you choose to use our carrier, the return shipping cost will be deducted from your refund amount.
For freight returns, the item(s) must be properly prepared for shipment. This includes securing the products on a pallet (free pallets are often available from local hardware stores or retailers) and wrapping the shipment securely with plastic wrap.
Once the returned item(s) arrive, they will be inspected. If any damage occurred during return transit, your refund may be delayed while the freight carrier completes an inspection. If you arrange your own return shipping, you may be responsible for filing a freight claim for any transit-related damage.
The return shipping method depends on the size and weight of the item being returned.
Smaller items, such as accessories or small cabinet components, may be returned using standard ground shipping services (FedEx, UPS, or USPS). Larger or heavier items must be returned using a common freight carrier.
For freight returns, we recommend securing the items on a pallet (free pallets are often available from local hardware stores or retailers) and wrapping the shipment securely with plastic wrap to prevent movement and damage during transit.
Please note:
Once the returned item(s) arrive at our warehouse, they will be inspected. If damage is found that occurred during return transit, your refund may be delayed while the freight carrier completes an inspection. If you arranged your own return shipping, you may be responsible for filing a freight claim for any damage that occurred during transportation.
We highly recommend ordering door samples before purchasing cabinets to ensure that the finish, color, and style meet your expectations.
However, if you receive your cabinets and are not satisfied with the finish or style, you may return your order as long as the items meet our return requirements. The items must be in their original, unopened packaging, in new and resalable condition.
Please note:
For cabinet returns, the order must be properly prepared for freight shipment. Items must be secured on a pallet (free pallets are often available from local hardware stores or retailers) and wrapped securely with plastic wrap to prevent damage during transit.
If you need assistance arranging return shipping, we would be happy to provide a freight quote using our preferred carriers. We are often able to obtain better freight rates than customers can receive independently. If you choose to use our carrier, the return shipping cost will be deducted from your refund amount.
Once the returned items arrive, they will be inspected. If any damage occurred during return transit, your refund may be delayed while the freight carrier completes an inspection. If you arrange your own return shipping, you may be responsible for filing a freight claim for any damage that occurs during transportation.
If you need to cancel an order that is already in transit, we will need to contact the freight carrier and request that the shipment be returned to our warehouse.
You will be responsible for any return shipping charges from the freight carrier, as well as the original shipping charge paid when the order was placed and a 15% restocking fee.
Once the order has been returned to our warehouse and inspected, your refund will be processed, minus the applicable shipping and restocking fees.
You may cancel products or orders that have not yet entered the picking process at our warehouse. To request a cancellation, you must notify us with a clear statement of your decision.
There are no cancellation fees for orders canceled within 24 hours of placement. If you request a cancellation after 24 hours and your order has already entered the packing or shipping process, we may not be able to cancel the order without additional fees.
If the manufacturer charges any fees to unpack, process, or restock the order, those charges will be the customer’s responsibility.
It is very important to inspect your shipment carefully when it arrives. Check the outside of all boxes for any visible damage before signing the delivery paperwork.
If you notice any damage, please:
Please do not refuse any damaged items. In many cases, the contents inside a damaged box may still be in good condition.
If you discover any damaged cabinet parts after opening the boxes, please report the issue to Kitchen Cabinet HQ within 48 hours of delivery and before assembly. If any items are missing or the shrink wrap is broken or not intact, be sure to document this on the driver’s delivery paperwork.
For freight-related damage claims, please keep all damaged items until the claim process has been completed. Keeping damaged items will not delay the processing or shipment of your replacement parts. However, the freight carrier may require an inspection of the damaged items before completing the claim.
Please do not dispose of any damaged items until you receive approval from us. Some freight carriers may require damaged items to be available for inspection for up to 120 days after a claim is filed. If the carrier requests to inspect the damage and the items are no longer available, it may affect the outcome of the claim.
It depends on the type and extent of the damage. In most cases, a replacement part will be provided rather than an entirely new cabinet.
The manufacturer reserves the right to determine the most cost-effective and efficient solution for correcting damaged or defective cabinets and accessories.
For example, if a cabinet door arrives cracked or damaged, a replacement door will typically be provided instead of replacing the entire cabinet.
If you purchased ready-to-assemble (RTA), there may be cases where a cabinet or a portion of the cabinet needs to be disassembled in order to install a replacement part properly.
You have 48 hours after delivery to open all cabinet and accessory boxes and inspect your order for any concealed damage, defects, or missing items.
Please report any issues to Kitchen Cabinet HQ within this 48-hour timeframe and before assembly or installation begins.
No. If any cabinet is damaged, please do not assemble the cabinet until you have received approval from our customer service team.
Any photos required by our claims department must show the cabinet in its unassembled condition. According to manufacturer guidelines, replacement parts may not be approved for cabinets that have already been assembled, as the manufacturer cannot verify whether the damage occurred before or during assembly.
Please keep all damaged cabinets unassembled until customer service confirms that you may proceed with assembly.
If glass door inserts or glass shelves are damaged during shipment, the manufacturer typically will not reship replacement glass, as shipping glass separately through standard ground services creates a high risk of additional damage.
If you receive damaged glass, please contact us immediately and provide photos showing the damage. Once the damage is verified, a credit will be issued so you can have the glass replaced or cut locally.
We offer a variety of replacement parts and touch-up products to help maintain and repair your cabinets, including fill sticks, touch-up markers, aerosol touch-up sprays, and stain quarts.
We also offer cabinet care and cleaning products designed to help protect your cabinets and keep them looking their best for years to come.
