Note: Will-call or customer pickup may be available.
Kitchen Cabinet HQ does not ship to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses. All shipments are F.O.B. shipping point.
Shipping methods are determined by the size and weight of each order. Items from the same order may ship separately and may arrive by different carriers, including freight carriers, UPS, or FedEx.
Freight deliveries require a location accessible by tractor-trailer. Most freight deliveries are curbside, end-of-truck deliveries:
- Curbside delivery: The shipment will be placed at the curb or driveway, based on the safest location determined by the driver.
- End-of-truck delivery: The driver will move the pallet to the end of the truck only. The customer is responsible for unloading the shipment piece by piece.
Someone must be available to inspect, photograph, document, and accept freight deliveries. Before signing, please:
- Inspect all boxes and pallets for visible damage.
- Confirm all pieces and accessories are included.
- Compare your shipment with your order confirmation, invoice, receipt, or packing list to ensure all items are correct.
- Note any damage, missing items, or packaging issues on the delivery receipt.
- Obtain a signed copy of the delivery receipt from the driver.
Do not refuse a damaged shipment. Please document the damage on the delivery paperwork and contact customer service for assistance. Failure to note visible damage or missing items at delivery may affect your ability to file a claim.
Lift gate service, residential delivery, construction site delivery, and inside delivery may be available for an additional charge and must be requested before shipment. Some large pallets may not qualify for lift gate service.
Freight deliveries are typically made using 53-foot trailers. Please contact us before shipment if your delivery location has limited access, such as:
- Gated communities
- Private roads
- Narrow roads
- Other locations that may not accommodate large trucks
Additional freight charges may apply for special delivery requirements, limited-access locations, islands, water crossings, or customer-requested services.
Unless otherwise stated, shipping charges apply to the contiguous United States using a carrier selected by Kitchen Cabinet HQ. Different terms may apply to Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and export orders.
Any additional charges for special handling, customer-arranged carriers, or carrier-required services are the responsibility of the consignee.
Backordered items from orders that qualify for prepaid shipping will ship prepaid when available.
Title and risk of loss transfer to the customer once the shipment is delivered to the carrier. If damage occurs during transit, claims must be filed with the carrier. Kitchen Cabinet HQ will assist with claims for shipments arranged through our company.
Collect Shipments
Kitchen Cabinet HQ will gladly ship via your specified carrier; however, we will not ship with certain carriers due to poor experience. Please note that for freight collect shipments you are responsible for order tracking once freight is loaded onto truck. In addition, we cannot assist you with filing damage claims with your carrier.
FedEx / UPS Ground Deliveries
For orders shipped through FedEx or UPS Ground:
- Inspect all packages within 48 hours of delivery.
- Report any damage or missing items immediately.
Claims submitted after this timeframe may not be accepted, and replacement costs may become the customer's responsibility.
Loss and Damage Claim
This policy applies to both visible (open) damage and concealed damage. Claims must be submitted within 5 days of receiving the products. Claims submitted after this timeframe may not be accepted.
Before signing for your shipment, please carefully inspect all items and document any issues. If you notice any damage or missing items, please:
- Take clear photos of the damage or missing items.
- Record all issues on the Bill of Lading (BOL), Delivery Receipt, or Packing Slip.
- Notify the truck driver and ensure the information is included on the delivery paperwork before signing.
Please complete the Claim Form and submit it to claim@kitchencabinetHQ.com along with any required photos, delivery documents, and supporting information.
Incorrect Finish Name on Boxes
The finish name printed on cabinet boxes may differ from the finish name shown on our website. Manufacturers often use different internal names for the same collection.
After your order ships, you will receive an email explaining the box labeling information.
Please do not refuse your delivery because the box label appears different. If you have questions, contact customer service before refusing any shipment.
